Gem-Reward after reaching KOG?

I was told that once you reached KOG there will be no reset at the end of a season in PvP anymore. Meaning that you will always stay at KOG-level.

The thing I wonder about: Everytime I reach Gold 1 rank in every new season, I receive a reward of 50 gems. So will I miss the chance to get this reward again and again after once reaching KOG? Because there will be no reset so I will be unable to climb through the rank to reach Gold 1 again?

KOG will still be reset after season ends. You will go back to silver 1 at a new season. Don't worry!
