I recently got 2 Union Attacks from Yugi but I don't really get why people say it is useful since it's basically a worse Riryoku.

Union attack is used with gravekeepers vassal because he deals effect damage and not battle damage

if you combine gravekeepers vassal with 2 union attacks and secret pass to the treasures in a farming deck it is actually better then riryoku and much easier to get 9999 dmg

For farming purpose, combine with the cards with whatever name it is that deal attack damage and effect damage.
