why doesn't magician's circle work in kc cup?

In my last kc cup duel I was not able to activate my magician's circle while attacking with my gravekeeper's oracle. that was the first time this issue occured both before and during kc cup.

maybe that could have happened once but surely not all the times this issue occured and anyway shouldn't magician's circle work even if my opponent's monster zone is full? I'll try it out in pve, thanks. I hope it's my fault and not a bug.

Maybe your opponent had already 3 Monsters on the field? He is also able to search his Deck from your cards effect but cant if his monster Zone is full

this issue occured something like 3-4 times and everytime I stiil had gravekeepers left in my deck and since all gravekeepers have 2000 atk or less and I only have gravekeepers in my deck, every monster card is a legitimate target. anyway thanks for your answer

The only reason I can think of is that you didn't have any target left in your deck, thus you cannot activate Magician's Circle when your Oracle Attacks.

Targets must be 2000 ATK and under and must be Spellcaster-type Monsters, next time before attacking check the count of your gravekeepers and spellcaster-type monsters and try to remember if you have a target left in the deck.
