You need to tribute monsters for the level 5 or higher monsters, but on your next turn, you don’t need to tribute, but when you Gemini summon, it counts as your one summon or set for the turn.

Gemini monsters are both effects and normal monsters,they are normal on deck or in the grave yard which is useful if you have traps that bring back normal monsters from the grave yard to your hand or deck

You summon them 1st turn, then tap it 2nd turn and "summon" it again to activate the effect.
It uses up your summon though.

You can activate it's effect the next turn after it is normal summoned faced up. using half shot mirror wall kuribo etc... to protect them the turn they're summoned. hope this help
