Why did i demote?

Hi! I Was Gold 1 (i know it's not much.. but you know, i earned it xD) and after the last update, when i logged in, i was Silver 1!.
idk why this happened, would someone enlighten me? because is pretty frustrating... thanks!
ps: a friend was silver 4 and still is.

Duel links probably does not like you and prefers you duel somebody your level. Possibly?

Because of Rank Reset. Rank resets end of ranked duel session.
