F2P guy here.What deck should I focus making?

I am one of the guys that don't have any combo decks and just put strong monsters with strong spell and trap cards.What deck should I try making which won't take me forever to find the needed cards?

I just used a random beatdown deck with destiny draw until plat 1 (Almost all the cards I used were from ultimate rising) for the first week I played. After that, I opened a few boxes to get 2 legion and made it to KoG in week 2 with a dark magician 3SD. Because I didn't have all of these at first, I ran with 2 DMG, 1 legion/2 blue dragon. 2 vigilance/twister. I had kuriboh/twister from spamming ultimate rising since I started and got lucky with the 1 legion pull.

Gravekeeper's is good, you can go open pack with unhappy girl and rai-mei, and make any standard farming deck, and you're ready for farming both odion and ishizu, one you get, you just need to open pack for your soul exchange twice or more, with your focus from now as an f2p, it's not hard because your skill will be power of dark

A harpie deck with some winged beast and the hunting ground

For begginers a dino deck ist cheap and consistent
For advancer user kaibaman for cheap and easy to get
And could be harpies and clowns and gravekeepers because are from farming
No optimized version that ist very expensive

Problem with rex deck is that it heavily relies on the field spell and spell and trap support. Unless you have 3 econs, 3 mirror walls etc, it won't be able to compete with the best decks

Mythic Depths deck with Hammer Shark, Star Boy and Lost Blue Breaker is working very well for me atm. Also some very good tribute cards you can throw in there such as Suijin and Daedalus along with cards to get them out such as big wave small wave and unshaven angler. Can get all the cards from farming, card trader of age of discovery, which only has 90 packs anyway.

kaiba man deck easy since u should have alot of UR and SR orbs from events

Rex dino deck is easier to build since you can farm those dinos easily. And just put some essential into it. :)

Same as you. I use a Rex deck and brought me to gold 2 in ranked matches. Invest your gems in the crimson kingdom pack to get lotus warrior and kabazauls, which I plan to do.
