I don't think the game is rigged. It's just RNG. Even the most perfectly balanced deck is gonna experience it sometimes.

The best way to avoid it is to do a 10/10 deck make up. 10 being monsters and 10 being spells/traps. Or a 12/8 with 12 monsters for the little extra insurance.

Another thing you can do is use skill like restart or balance if it is really that bad.

My deck is a 10/10 make up with restart on Kiaba and I very rarely get a dead hand.

Have the same issue...will win 15 in a row to get to gold rank 3 then they hit the doom switch to make sure i dont go past gold. currently rank 4 for the past 60 duels been gold and keep getting to 5 then the lasst duel the screw me with the draws.

if you are a f2p player you will get matched against p2p players so u can be shown how you cant stand a chance unless u buy buy buy

I some cases I also think it might be rigged.I find it strange that when playing against someone from east asia the hands are terrible, and in many cases connection is lost and i lose the duel...and no my internet is not the problem, i never had internet connection problems in 5 years except duel links...

PVP sucks period. Cannot get past level 5 and when I do I lose to get dropped back down. Opening draw for my opponent gives them the cards and traps to destroy me right away. Also some cards you can't even get because they are unavailable at this time??? What the hell is that about. Eeerrrrr. So frustrating.
