I personally use this with amazoness swords woman and gravity lash. alot of cards have high defense as well so I use gravity lash to weaken them so they take the most possible damage from spikeshield. Also it's quite fun equipping spikeshield to one of their monsters econ into defense position and attacking into their outrageously large defense with swords woman. Usually they will only be able to answer with wall of d only making them take more damage due to swords woman's effect. Unfortunately I can't come up with the rest of a decklist to improve consistency however when it goes off it is magical lol
