After spending much time and brain juice testing out farm decks, here is my contribution to everyone. Surprisingly, the answer is not Horus nor Paladin, but Mystic Swordsman. LOL
Basically the whole stratery is to bring out Swordsman LV6 ASAP and then keep sending back Bakura's set monster to top of his deck, skipping his draw while you slowly thin your deck.
Out of 4 tries: I won 3 but lose 1 due to bad draws. Not exactly great but it's the best farm deck I have for me. Happy farming
Bring out LV6 ASAP. 🔥 his face up monster to lvl up if necessary. That's why ECON is there, in case not drawing LV UP. Destroy face down monsters doesn't Lvl up your monsters. Happy farming
If you managed to bring out swordsman lv6, Bakura will surely set his monster down. Then just keep send back to top of deck. Else, Set Lv4 face down with ECON. Change its position and skip his attack, next round you can 🔥 his monster and LV Up your monster. Make sure his grave has <3 monsters else he will summon necrofear. And remember, destroy set monster wont LV UP swordsman. Happy farming :)
Assume the strategy is working without element of bad hand or bad draw, bakura can only get 5-6 cards from his deck. Probability wise, he won't have more than 1 spells. Second, from my farming experience, there is certain conditions that triggers AI using those spells. Third, you can modify my Greed Jar and include more twisters
There is flaw in every farm deck. At least, I figured this deck eliminates a few issues: 1) you don't need many specific cards like dimension gate etc in hand. Bring out Lv6 and you are good 2) no necrofear 3) no man eater bug 4) no monster can overpower you even with equip card 5) block all his subsequent draw or you may very well need 4 spells removal
By the way, I did include 1 typhoon in the deck. It works the same as twister. Though I have never needed to use it. If not mistaken, bakura will only activate ectoplasmer when he has 2 monsters on field so that he is not open for direct attack after tributes 1 monster
Honestly, trash farming deck because bakura always get his key card on his starting hand. What can you do if you are going second and bakura set his bug on first turn?
Interesting farming deck dude, thanks for sharing and it's a nice change from the regular stuff that's surfaced so far. It's be good to tech in more backrow removal instead of jar of greed, since he wont deckout with you forcing his topdecks.
Try study the cards before commenting. Mystic swordsman doesn't flip opponent monster face up when attacking. If he set down a bug, just send it to graveyard straight away. What's the problem?
0-8? May I know what's the problem? Bad draw as in no LV UP? Well you can get swordsman Lv 4 out and 🔥 his monster to level up into LV6. Just have to be creative. Example: starting hand = LV2, LV UP, Econ, xxx. Purposely summon LV2, econ skip his attack, LV up, 🔥 his monster >> LV 6
worked like a charm! Yami Bakura got me down to 1700 LP but spell removal came out in time, my advice would be to take out Jar of Greed and just have two more Twister/Typhoons
Hi guys how's farming goes? So far Mystic swordsman working great and I got most of the cards from Bakura. Right now with the campaign bonus, it's a very good time to farm him since you always get chest drop +1. Happy farming :)
Read the post again. Destroying face down monster doesn't level up your monster. Thats why he put in Econ instead. Bait opponent to normal summon monster, then econ change him to defense position. Destroy face up def monster to level up
