The only way this can lose if you go second is if you don't start with a CC and your opponent is running good backrow that can be activated outside of the battle phase (since cards like drowning mirror force and wall of disruption will get destroyed by Raikiri's effect before doing anything).
I think Hawk joe is a must in Blackwings, u can try to remove the traps and replace them with forbidden lance and chalice, also put Vermillion instead of BW-Dragon
Joe is def. better than Black Rose Dragon. Vermillion's the best lV9 Synchro, but since he's FIRE, he can't be summoned if you use Simoon's effect, so I'm not too sure about adding them. And, even if you do get rid of BW-Dragon, the hand-traps should stay. Monster effects are better than ever in the current meta. If anything, they should take out one of the Boras and add a third Blackbird Close.
IMO, Black-Winged Dragon is the most useless one there, he's not a Blackwing, he offers nothing other than 2800 ATK, and he takes a very specific field to summon with that deck (you need 3+1+4)
Dude, B-W Dragon is there to make the most out of Blackbird Close. Negate a card, then summon a 2800 ATK beastick for free. No need to even Synchro Summon it.
