Floodgate is specifically to limit Endless Shiranui. They had 2 SpectralSword that are also at Limit 3.

Shiranui can still run 1 Floodgate and all kinds of Karma Cut, Canadia, Fiendish Chain, Drowning, Ballista, Bad Aim.....

The reason Floodgate is at 3 is that it’s not played alongside Galaxy Cyclone, bc both are good counters against Pendulum Summoning.

Yea, Floodgate would be Pendulum's mortal enemy.

But Cyclone og target are facedowns, you have to send it to grave first so it can destroy Pendulum. Whereas MST, is still free at 3.

TD without wolf will become a slow heavy trap deck like Shiranui.

Cydras are dead. This skill is all about pushing whales to get 3 cydras.

Floodgate limitation means you have to choose between cosmic cyclone and endless traphole in this pendulum format.

My bad. I meant Cosmic Cyclone. That card and Floodgate will be on the Limited 3 list, making it so you can only play 3 copies of either or both cards.
