There have been two Zanes in the files for awhile now. So who can confirm that it can't happen ( unlockable or event)? Are you Konami?

I just want to know why he keeps showing up twice in the character files. I don't know if those are unlock characters only. If not, then the obelisk blue Zane could just be for a duelist chronicles event. I need to solve this mystery.

Possibly a duelist chronicles or maybe a super Zane event but the thing is the Zane we have has Cyber End as his ace.

Can't imagine them giving us another character as a skin change.

Yeah, probably. The same looks like it could be true for Jaden/Yubel if Spunky Jaden shows up as the season 4 version of himself. I would rather duel as the hell Zane anyway when it comes down to it.

Most of those are rather unnecessary. They're not especially popular, and won't add any relevant new cards. I'd imagine Bruno/Antinomy will possibly happen eventually, Atticus is also very likely. Duke MIGHT have enough cards to be worthwhile, and they're running out of DM characters, so I guess that could happen. I don't get why so many people want regular Marik/Bakura/Zane. They'd add nothing.

Duke: Idk what he would really have. Marik: Probably more gravekeepers and necrovalley. Regular Zane: cyber dragons, obviously. Regular Bakura: Possibly change of heart. A lot of people do like these characters. Duel links isn't just a small population of newer gen. fans on gamea who wants to skip a lot of characters. Plus, more gems. Pretty easy to figure out.

I don't really consider regular Bakura or Marik duelists. Neither of them dueled on-screen. (Unless you count Yami Bakura vs Yami Marik, or Marik possessing Strings, Keith or Joey, or the end of the Battle City finals.) They'd be out of place here. At least even Solomon Muto and Duke have dueled on-screen.

I can understand that line of reasoning in a way. If you don't see them duel, I guess it is hard to get into a dueling mind-set with them if they are in the game. There probably won't be a regular Bakura. He is not in the files and beyond change of heart, idk what they would even give him. Idk what is going with Marik and Grandpa. Duke and Umbra/Lumis were on the leak page, but no images.

I wouldn't be surprised if Marik was only in the data for cutscene purposes and possibly events, similar to, say, Strings or possessed Joey. (Umbra & Lumis are likely in the same boat, and will probably just be used for a Battle City repeat, given they "appeared" in the event anyway.)

No clue what they'll use Solomon for, if anything.

(cont.) There is definitely a lot more hope for Kalin and Bruno since they are on the list. Atticus is on the GX leak list, but once again, I can't find any images. Then there is Jaden/Yubel and Zane again. But simply being on the leak list doesn't make them unlockable. Awhile ago, Para and Dox were listed separately and that was the tag duel. The other Jaden and Zane could be event only.

The only thing that makes me think Marik might still be real was the images of him on the character select screen, icons, and even a duel loss image. I don't know if they were planning to do it at first, but then looked at his cards and said "WTH were we thinking?"
