If you want to win against Ancient Gear, the only thing you need to do is play as Arkana and use Blue-Eyes.
You need 0 money.
Simply because you can get a 3rd copy of Dragon of White with a Dream SR ticket.

tbh OP is right about this, you could just get the Blue Eyes box with 1000 gems... then pick a third Dragon Spirit with a dream ticket; buy visions of ice with gems and you'll be able to destroy ancient gears that way. Very easy banish thanks to spirit and spellbook of fate.
No treacherous and no econ just spellbooks of fate seems a bit risky but somehow effective, youll have a decent winrate against AG but u wont be able to play tth though
