This card will make Dunames obsolete since it has higher DEF, its effect destroys Mask of the accursed and it's not affected by Yami.
Way better IMO and it will be an SR, not an UR like Dunames.
I use him. Is a good conference against Leotaur with only lvl 4 Monsters on your field. Oh and Gearfried has the down not could be strengthened by own equipment and not used for cards which need normal monsters like community Charity
Sorry Autokorrektur made mistake. I mean Leotaur is a good conter against relinquished if you have him and at least another lvl 4 monster on your field when enemy summons relinquished.
actually I see way more people using dunames than gearfried and the reason is OTC, so "way better" is debatable, the negation effects is 100% situational and the def is better, but being effect monster reduces their supports
