My friend was wondering if there was a way in which to reset a characters deck so that it would be the original one that they started with and not an edited one.

I don't believe there is a button that you can click to reset it. However, there is a section on this website called LD list and then click the character you are using. Once you are there at the character, scroll down on the page and there should be a list of the starter deck. From there you can edit it in game to look like the starting deck for the character.
