De-fusion bug?

De-fusion is not summoning fusion material after activation, but still returns fusion monster to the extra deck. Elemental HERO Neoa Knight did not turn back into news alias and burstinatrix

Having the same problem with Gaia the magical knight of dragons. Gaia returns to the extra deck, but the fusion materials don't get special summoned. I had all of them in the graveyard

very true. happens to all my fusion monsters for some reason

It's not a ruling, it's literally whats printed on the cards. " If all the Fusion Material Monsters listed on that Fusion Monster are in your Deck, you can Special Summon them."

You also have to be able to summon all of them, so if you don't have enough monster zones free, you can't bring one of them back say.

yeah unfortunately a really stupid ruling came out in the last year or so where an idiot judge decided that De-Fusion now only summons literally what's printed on the card. this means that cards that change their name (Elemental HERO Neos Alius) or other parts of themselves in order to be used as Fusion Material cannot be summoned from the Graveyard by De-Fusion.

It's probably the stupidest ruling they've ever made, sorry.
