The 4th effect of the trap card doesn't work against red-eyes slash dragon, I activated the effect "this turn, the activated subterror effects cannot be negated" and even so red eyes negated the effect

Cancer against other cancer don't work

Activations being negated and effects being negated are different. Final Battle doesn't help with activation negations.
