Tributing 2 monsters to summon it is not an effect, is a summon condition. You can negate it's summon and destroy it with Champion's Vigilance but you need to have a face-up level 7 or more normal monster after Lava Golem attemps to be summoned.

use floodgate traphole it will summon to your field then you can force it facedown and you wont take damage
