Animations, where ar you?

I haven't seen an animation in months. I regularly use Ace monsters with the correct character e.g. I just maxed out Joey using Red-Eyes deck and not once did an animation appear.

Now that we have to "collect" the animations from the beginning to use the new feature in the Card Studio, I would like this to work. To my knowledge I didn't tun anything off and I can't find an on button in settings etc.

This started happening ages back when they announced issues/work to do with animations. It may also have been around the time when I downloaded and switched to the Japanese voiceovers as I couldn't stand hearing the awful 5Ds voices like King Jack Atlas > wimpy British Bakura and Black Rose Witch Aki > pitiful Yusei groupie backup Mai.

Has anyone else experienced loss of animations? If you have, did you also switch the voice language?
