Can you ritual summon a card that you don't have in your deck? I.e. I have synthesis spell, would I get lycanthrope even though I don't have the card in my deck?

You MUST have it in your hand in order to ritula summon the moster. Ritual spell + Tribute moster/s with total level of the Ritual monster + Ritual monster card = Summoned ritual monster
