How does Masked Hero Anki attack directly with Forbidden chalice?

My opponent used forbidden chalice to raise M. Hero Anki's attack then attack directly. If its effect is to attack directly at half value why did it not only get to keep its attack but also attack directly with full strength plus the bonus attack from chalice. There were no other cards at work
One mask change and one chalice and I had Amazon Princess and Tiger with onslaught on the field and took a 3k plus hit directly and lost. What is this??

Because your opponent actives Chalice during Damage Step, it means that the attack will go through and Chalice negated the half-damage effect, so you took 3200 damage

Its because konamis "card rulinngs" are pure garbage and they make up new stupid rules like this to give the new cards even more value, so every1 has to buy them. For example the targeting but not targeting spellbook of fate :^). But 3.2k direct dmg with 2 cards, THAT ARE NOT EVEN MADE FOR THIS TRASH COMBO AND OP ANYWAY, is a rly cheap way to make ppl buy the new packs. What comes after 3.2k dmg directly? Maybe 4k dmg directly with 1 card? Spellbook of doom??

This works only when chalice is activated in the Damage-Step (the effect of only half dmg is negated by chalice - not the attack that is declared). if chalice is activated before dmg-step Anti can´t attack directly.

Masked Heroes players are pure human trash. They first P2W for the structure decks, then abuse bugged interaction like Chalice Anki or even worse Titan Showdown Anki.

The best thing you can do is be like me and not give Konami any money ^^
