Duelist names in gold font?

Once I got to Platinum Ranks, most duelist names show gold font instead of white. Anyone know what that means? Is it just ranking or something else, like Stage 60 + Plat Rank?

Once you reach platinum rank, just close and reopen the app and then you can see your own name in gold.

this is just a guess, but I think that next season, that's where it will show how far the player got the previous season. so when you start the match, you will know...omg this player was king of games last season, or maybe he only got to gold

Players you duel against with Gold Font as name instead of White font are high ranking players.

I think the game has 2 different shades of gold.

Platinum players get a golden color
Legendary players get a darker gold color
King of Game players get a red color
