How do I get through the gold ranks?

So I've been trying to play ranked for quite awhile, but after constantly getting stuck at Silver 1, I gave up and decided I needed better cards, so I stopped playing pvp completely.

Anyways, with the Qualifiers going on right now, I decided I'd give it another try with the better cards I've acquired since then, and it worked! I flew right through the silver ranks with ease. THEN I hit gold 1. Loss loss and loss annnnd I'm rank 5 again. and that's basically where I'm stuck right now, I easily get back into Gold 1, but then get immediately knocked out.... The cards people use there are just more powerful then I can counter... How can I win? I really want Platinum 1 for the free SR card and the gems along the way, would help my deck a lot.

I've looked up decks and such, but I simply don't have the right cards or enough card duplicates for a specialized deck. Any suggestions?

Pick a meta deck based on cards you already have.

Chose A meta deck and go try hard to make it.
I managed to get hhg and Ezekiel through gold and plat

build a standard tea burn deck, it will easily let u reach plat and if u have some decent luck u can get to kog.

Mission up+level up for gems and only open packs to make a deck. When you get the card(s) you need, reset asap. Try to focus on getting staple cards like Order to Charge and Sphere Kuriboh so you're not limited to one deck as opposed to opening packs for Black Luster Soldier or whatnot
