Lost blue breaker + Michizure

As it is written in Michizure dispcription
" Activate only when a monster is sent from the field to the graveyard..etc "
so why is it when i use LBBs effect it wont activate Michizure? (As is it a monster is indeed sent from the field to the graveyard.)
Please help! :)

Thanks a lot fellas. I realize now Michizure can only be activated during dmg step only.

michizure has text saying it can be activated in the damage step and LBB is activated in main phase, this could be why?

Michizure has to be activated directly after your monster is sent to the Graveyard. The last thing to happen in this case is the S/T destruction, therefore you missing the activation window for Michizure.

Effects like LBB can't trigger Michizure.
Like how you can miss the timing on pinch hopper, you miss the timing on Michizure (but it doesn't say).
There has to be nothing that happens after that card is sent to the graveyard for you to be able to chain Michizure - in LBB's case, a Spell/Trap card is destroyed.

A card that does work is Playful Possum, since it's "destroy itself" effect is the last thing to happen.

Maybe you set the card at the first turn.
Traps can't be activated during the turn they got set.

There stand "can" it can be used during all the normal steps and damage step

Activate only when a monster is sent from the field to your Graveyard. Select and destroy 1 monster on the field. (You can activate this card during the Damage Step.)

Keyword is during the damage step only.
