Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha xyz and synchro killed the game? Tell that to the game that is still going, and not dead despite those, plus pendulums and links.
They’re good summoning methods. Ritual and fusion get boring after a while. Tuner monsters and xyz bring back the use of level 3 and lower monsters. Which I don’t use. Using overlay units strategically rather than at will, will add more thought to the duels
I really enjoyed xyz and synchro summons. Also the new link summon came in a good time to slow down a bit summon spamming.
The only one summoning method I have ever complained about was pendulum. Not because it make easy to summon several big monsters in one turn, but the effect that EVERY TURN you can bring back them again if they were destroyed. Free reborn.
Yeah arv V is a really good series but I don’t like pendulum summoning either. I think that’s why the show has every kind of summoning. It’s horrible in fact. Is link summoning like xyz, waiting for the dub. When I read up a little on link it was too hard to understand like xyz and pendulum
I think you'll find it's more often the newer players that gripe, actually. You don't continue to play a game you despise for well over a decade. ;p The game changes a lot year to year, let alone with each new era. Remember, La Jinn was a top-tier card at one point. ;p
