Now VWXYZ, that one I'd agree would likely take too long to get on the field for this format. However, there's always Fusion Conscription + VW Tiger Catapult...which I believe should work for these cards. Never tried it tho.
The fusion not only takes 5 simple monsters, but include 2 more fusion monsters in process (total of 7 monsters all removed from play). OP side is covered via the one card removal per turn (just cannot attack). Basically, its a card wiper collecting dust on the field.
