Konami in 2017 : gems every maintenance, gems everytime we get duplicate skills in farming, 100 gems in pick-a-gift instead of 50, twice the amount of gems in big event compared to 2019, and Konami cut all of them because of trolls like you. On the survey you only care about new char and event instead of gems, so Konami can happily cut the gems resources since no one complaining
Duel links is much easier to enjoy for F2P if they don't play it as their main game. Just slowly save gems to get a pet deck. Chasing meta is only for whales.
