i like this tier list more than the duel links meta one. id only put heroes in tier 2 and elementsabers in tier 1. DLM only has crystrons in tier 1 which makes no 🔥ing sense since neos and shiranuis are everywhere
There are differences between tiered and most played deck.
Just because many people use it doesnt mean it was tier 1. Look at KG result. The tier here is kinda messed up no matter how you see it as soon as you see Blue eyes and dragunity in tier 3, which is being compared with the consistent Dark Magician.
Dlm tier list is based on side deck tournament which make no sense in actual duel links this tier list is more accurate to the actual game's format which has no side deck options
Ofc, dlm has nothing to do with actual game tier list. Dont belueve dlm. In reality kog decks are fairy, sylvans, amazoness, fur hires, vylons, ua, and ojamas. The dlm list is false.
Yeah but thats not the problem of the dlm tierlist but that from the people who believe it when in fact you can reach kog with almost any deck so a tierlist makes no sense only for the ladder at all
If you look at the top 100 decks in the KCGT stage 2, you can see that indeed Crystrons had the most tops and very deserving of being T1. But crystrons overall is an expensive and hard deck to play that's why it's not popular
"it requires a bit of thinking and brain so its not a deck for everyone".
That reasoning applied to most competitive decks in any TCG, FOR THE FIRST TIME to learn the combo only. After few games, it becomes routine. EVERYONE can learn it, IF they want to.
Yeah but you only have to compare crystrons and dm to see that this deck is much more complicated to play correctly and its not only the standard combo that make it more difficult
If you look at the KC tournaments and the top decks, it corresponds with the Tier list on DLM. The best decks in game with the Most Effective Tactics Available (META) are the decks listed on DLM's Tier list. A tier list is what's most effective and efficient, not what's most encountered.
DLM's tournaments are a good sample size and indication as to what the best decks are for competitive play. If you have the opportunity to play for money say $1600 like in their last tourney, you gonna go in with a blue eyes deck against any of the decks listed on DLM's tier list and feel confident you've got a chance?
There's a language barrier, but I'd also pay attention to the Japanese Meta, it's mostly the same as here, but there are regional differences, and Japanese have won the last 2 worlds, so I'd say they have it more figured out than us in the west.
