For an anti-farmer like me, this event is a GODSEND. It doesn't matter what your duel assessment is, you gotta follow the rules in order to get the best rewards. I'm only on Mako number 1 and I have my first SR, Horn of the Unicorn, which makes me hope/think they've raised the drop rate as well, which is awesome. Another awesome thing about this event is that it isn't a walk in the park to get the event character. You actually have to be devoted in order to obtain Yugi Muto, not just someone who gets a good duel assessment on your first level 40 event enemy. The only problem I have, though, is that I seem to be having AWFUL rolls. I'm beginning to think that the die is rigged, as I think the biggest roll I've gotten is like a 3... it's a little annoying. All in all... this event is awesome! I haven't loved an event this much since the first Pegasus event! Just like the event back then, they have introduced something fresh and new, and I can get behind that. Also, the event rewards aren't trash! La Jinn is a good beater, Horn of the Unicorn is a like Sword of the Deep-Seated but better, Toon Barrel Dragon combines the meta with a very useful card, Union Attack is for the filthy grinders, but they deserve happiness too, and Kuriboh... it's Kuriboh! What more do you want? I don't think I can praise this event enough for finally bringing us something fresh.

I mean, if you don't like Horn of the Unicorn, then it's a free SR gem. I'm hardly a fanboy or it, and would more likely use other equip cards and I did give attention to every one of the SRs. However, I can and do argue that as the current Duel Links equip spells go, it isn't bad.

Why so much hate

I farm to have cards to build my own decks... what is wrong with that? If your 🔥 at unoriginal people that is fine, but to be 🔥 at farmers is ridiculous. There are people out there who like to publish their decks cuz they like to help people. I and many others don't publish our decks, for me it is laziness. Sounds like ur hate is coming from jealousy... sorry bro/sis.

Firstly, let me be absolutely clear that this will be coming from a hardcore farmer.

We all know P2P players rule every game, and that includes Duel Links. During the first two months of playing Duel Links, I tried to PvP. It was really really tough for an F2P player like me, therefore I gave up on PvP almost entirely. What I picked up on was farming. Farming was the.....

"There's no originality in farming" you say? Who cares? As long as you're getting to your goal thanks to all that farming, originality is irrelevant.

You are correct, P2Players are often the highest-ranked, I know as I am F2P as well. I understand the desire to farm, as the drop rate is often pitiful. However, the power of P2P has been fading of late, with additions like the card tickets (which are AWESOME). I think the issue here is that (TBC)

In my opinion, farmed cards only constitute to less than 40% of the Meta. The other 60+% is upto the card packs.

So back to the question, why the hate for farmers?

1. You're getting cheesed by farmers.
(Solution) Want those cards? Farm for them.

2. You're just jealous because you can't dedicate time to farming.
(Solution) Can't dedicate time? Just quit already.

... we have different goals. I think Duel Links should be a creative game, and that decks should be made for versatility. Now of course some decks just don't do well against others (Paracide VS Toons... Toons destroy.), but you should try to make a deck that beats as much as possible in PvP. I think PvP principles should apply to NPC battles. That's not to say "Oh go get 3k DA everytime"; my (TBC)

... Blue-eyes can get 6-7k, but I use them in PvP as well. Now those who create their own farming decks... I don't like them, but I can at least respect their ability as deck-makers. I REALLY dislike the people who copy them though. Anyways, doesn't take too much time to farm, and I have the cards, so it isn't jealousy. I dislike them because I just don't think it's right. That is all.

filthy grinders is really stupid oc... i mean this game is about GRINDING... i hate this system so i also totally agree with the rest he said (expect sr drop rate - it really sucks) but sadly enough it's also grinding - going through every zone again and again and these poorly animated guys on the map... what can I say? my favorite event so far lol - but kuriboh is still sweet :)

Except the game basically forced you to grind unles you're lucky with the drops. No matter whether it's roaming LD, gate LD, or this event. The only difference is gate LD guaranteed 2 copies of good SR even if you're unlucky with the drops. This event only give you 1. Moreover the 🔥ty lottery have worse good drop ratio than lvl 40 gate LD. Thats why people with actual sense hate this event
