Even without seeing the video I already knew your mistake XD

You thought it's "I can only activate one of its two effects per turn"

When it's actually "I can activate both effects, but each effect can only be activated once per turn".

Although, it looks like you understand now, which is a good thing :)

For those who read the conversation and still don't understand:

Consider it like one basket full of oranges and another basket full of apples. You can take 1 orange and 1 apple at the same time with both of your hands, but you can take only 1 orange and 1 apple each.
