Yeah. I swear though, practically all I've seen Yami Yugi do in this is summon Elemental Hero 🔥 Neos. It's so boring. We need Fusion Destiny and more dhero fusions instead of this over and over.

Yeah, Arc-V Edo was stupid and nothing like GX Edo. GX Edo has voicelines for the Arc-V dheroes already. And we also need Destroy Phoenix Enforcer, Dominance, Fusion Destiny, Denier, Drawhand, Dynatag, the regular Phoenix Enforcers.

I feel that Arc V as a whole could've been written better tho. It had some good ideas, but the writers ended up messing the series up. I hear the manga version is better, but the end of it (which I already know...)is horrible. Arc V just can't get a good ending.

I liked it till somewhere in the Synchro dimension when it just dragged on way too long. Roget was a stupid villain, and then it became obsessed with Yuya and his making people smile garbage being shoved down everyone's throats. Watching Arc-V Jack laugh with that Smile World card was a wtf moment with worse to come.

Roget was a wannabe Goodwin who won't be missed by many, if not no one. And yeah, the Synchro Arc was not only too long, but pretty much filler.

I sadly didn't read the manga either but the biggest problem with the anime was that it was a story that tried too hard and was too selective with its nostalgia. I want all those D Heroes too but lament that Edo won't gain new voices for new cards like all Kaibas do.

Apparently, the writers (not sure if it's all of them or not) had bias against GX...and I don't know why...

And yes, the anime went too far with the nostalgia. Arc V could've worked without the Legacy Characters as the manga version proves.

They had all sorts of bias, I didn't like how they chose the legacy characters they liked because they liked them and rushed and there wasn't as nearly as much material to please fans of any of the series imo.

Yeah. The whole dimension story is so weird. It's annoying that they're entire dimensions of existence, with a full universe, named after one specific type of summoning of one specific card game.

One really cool thing right now is the Youtube series "A History of Duel Links" by The Law. So far he has "The DM Era" and "The GX Era Part 1". Can't wait till he gets to part two to talk about the rise of Amazoness, Fur Hire, and the first start of the destiny Anki deck.

Sadly those do not interest me as they are all about meta. They do not represent my personal history of playing the game other than facing vagabonds and there is too much of a dissonance.

If you read the official descriptions of the Ultimate Rising box it's still there, the box selling itself as if Axe Raider were meta.
