I don’t care at all about this new ban list simply because we are getting Sylvans, Vampires and Celestial.
They will be strong enough to compete, if anything, this new ban list is highly beneficial.
With characters like Tristan and Scud, they didn't really have any cards to begin with, so a theme can be newly made for them, but Camula already has known cards and theme, and we have most of the Vampire cards already, minus the Xyz/Xyz-related stuff and the Link, which Camula won't have since she's a GX character.
Is less about the cardpool (Zombie is a large type, and while she focused on Vampires, her deck did use a wide range of other Zombie cards), and more about making her stand out compared to Bonz. I suppose they could give Vampires their own Skills.
Either way, even though we got Scud, Tristan, etc., there still needs to be SOME logic. Camula is one of many relatively minor villains.
Granted, DM does have Arkana and Umbra/Lumis. But DM's been out longer, and the game focuses more heavily on it than other series. GX, thus far, really hasn't introduced a single minor character. Bastion is probably the least notable, and he was part of the main cast for a long while.
We're much more likely to get a more standalone character like Darkness/Nightshroud or even Titan than Camula.
