Have you actually try it yourselves? Because I'm sure you don't. Edge WILL lose the equipped card no matter when you activate chalice.

Unlike anki, cyberdark atk affected by its Equip. If u negate its eff, at the damage calc. its equipment will be destroyed, and then his ATK goes to 1200. You lose both its equipped monster + forbidden chalice for a same damage.
