It’s a common strategy to try to condition players to not set many cards, like players choosing Kronos to fool others into thinking it’s a Reactor Dragon deck. But for me using Ryo = I’m using very cute animals like melffies or EMs.

The last one I finished was Vesperia, and that was awhile ago because of time issues. I still have ones I haven't beaten yet and I still need to get a PS4 and Zestiria and Berseria. And still waiting on Phantasia from Amazon. The new one looks really different in a good way.

Konami seems to love Thunder Dragons. It wouldn't be so bad if they would actually start giving us some new decks to surpass them. What sucks is that most of the time it would be easy to beat them if they didn't almost always have a handtrap glued to them so easily.

Even though they seem to love Thunder Dragons the actual cards, they could still give more hits to self milling bs. And maybe give a harsher hit to BK Veil and Kiteroid. I am sorry to say I don’t think powercreeping addresses broken decks correctly, as they shouldn’t exist, new or old.

Konami allows broken cards for a reason and not just for profit. It's also to keep F2P players down and get some of them resorting to pay for Duel Links. That's why decks like Onomats aren't hit yet (at least until Konami finds a new cash cow). Also, if Yu-Gi-Oh gets too balanced somehow, it'll get boring for some players and if it gets too broken, it'll be frustrating instead.

I can understand the idea of not hitting new cards, select box exclusives as they generate direct profit. But entirely f2p cards like Thunder Dragon Dark, which they freed from the banlist. Several overpowered cards aren’t big box URs.
