One of the coolest events in a while. Cydras without their skill and with all their alternative cydras, red eyes, magician girls, gladiator beasts, magnet warriors with their og cards, water decks etc etc. Cool decks and slow paced duels.
The only negatives:
-Harpies due to their incredible consistency and op field skill
-All decks run almost identical backrow: the staple traps.
Despite that I enjoyed the not boring repetitive dueling of normal ranked games were all decks use their 4-5 core cards x3 times. No onomats, no resonators, no thunder dragons.
Hope they made this mode permanent to see at least some deck diversity.
thunder dragon is not playable here, because it requires multiple dupes.
It would be surprising if someone actually reaches KoG using only thunder dragon
"Hope they made this mode permanent to see at least some deck diversity." lol super consistant decks have even more advantage.no thanks.you must be ma d to wish for this
But man, in my last duels before KOG, the number of Harpie decks was starting to get annoying. People really don't understand how to have fun, do they?
I mean, here Konami gave us more freedom and not to worry about deck consistency, yet people still don't bother deck on their own.
Still fun for me, I prefer rushing things up fast by keep winning again and again until I reached KoG so I can move on with my day. And after at that rank, If I'm bored, I can just play with my meme decks for fun without having to worry about being demoted for losing.
For me, I don't wait until KoG to have fun. I love this game because I like the dueling. Specially in this event, I enjoy every wins and enjoy every loses leading to KoG. In that way I feel my KoGs more fulfilling. Winning, for me, means so much more and so much fun only because we actually could lose.
It may be feel more fun, fullfiling and meaningful but It's not like you actually achieve anything. Reaching KOG is waste of time. All of that trouble and time you wasted is nothing for just 200+ gems. So I rather not spend too much of my time on it by keep winning and winning.
Yea, that is actually the point. I like the dueling; the process of how win or lose. For me it is not about winning and getting reward.
But also, yea I agree. I don't doubt it that Konami is such stingy corps who actually never reward us with anything. Still glad they made this game so I can waste time with fun tho :D
