Chalice.

Both can be used to dodge fields with bounzer or some other bs but chalice has an extra:

You can use chalice during your opp turn to mess their entire combo. Lastly the 400atk boost of chalice may come in handy once in a full moon

Just use vortex to deal with the monsters. Using dark ruller no more and then get interrupted by a trap card will just result to -1.

This card. If you chalice a monster who have quick effect (Spirit / Dark Lord) they just chain. Of course chalice have the benefit of being quick play so you can play that in your opponent turn. Imagine if Dark Ruler No More was a Quick Play...
