At the beginning of GX, there is an episode where Jaden duels against a monkey wearing an "augmented inteligence" helmet. A 🔥ING MONKEY!
Despite, I still endured until I couldn't take anymore. GX is very 🔥ing far worse than the original, even though the first season of the original was a mess (the rules were not estabilished yet).

Did you watch the Dub? Because the Dub for GX is 🔥ing awful and worse than the Dub for the original, I will give you that. Although there are really only a couple of episodes that were like that, and don't say the original didn't have them either. There was an episode where Yugi dueled a perverted Dance Dance Revolution Champion who looked like a Stereotypical Black Guy

Yes, that Dance Revolution episode was godawful and the guy 🔥 blocked Atem 🔥 with Tea (they were on a date after all); but nothing like A MONKEY! Idk man, some duels could even be better on GX but the characters lacked good motivation and they were terrible (except for maybe Jaden and the Cyber Dragon Kaiba like guy). The school thing was dumb too
