I have been gem mining the box since yesterday. For a box full of Harpie Ladies, it sure is stingy about giving them up. Got mutiples of the FA cards though. I know its my imagination, but I sometimes wonder if uncle Konamae makes boxes that will not give up the desirable cards until after a metric ton of gems has been spent on the box. If its random then my luck is scary bad. Minis can be as brutal as the big boxes when trying to farm one archetype.
That was how I felt when trying to get a second Malacoda in order to play a fun BA deck based around its ritual monster instead of Dante/Beatrice. I never expected to get most of the UR cards and pretty much every other SR before I finally got a second copy. Ended up just finishing out the box since barely anything was left and a copy of mst could be nice to have.
I see you were treated the same, all of the UR and 4 of the SR remain with only 20 packs to go in the box. Getting the missing harpie card and resetting would be a total waste. Konami you bas tard you and your fu ck ing schemes
In the past I used to believe that this is nonsense. But according to my recent experience, I have to agree. Usually, the most popular ultra/super rares are in the last 20 packs. I the last mini box I oppened 46 packs to get my first super rare...
Someone explained how it works in another post (miniboxes):
*UR/SR are supposed to have a 1/100 chance of appearing at the beginning right? 1/100=.01, but konami has never said so, we suppose it works like that because that's how a box would work in real life.
*Let's say there are 12 garbage UR/SR and 1 good SR, what can konami do?

*Take the .01 of the good UR lower it to .001 and spread the rest .009 among all other packs. Then as you keep digging in the box the probability just gets readjusted every time.
Who would notice? At some point somewhere on earth will get the good UR/SR early on and just like that it seems all cards have the same chance
Got my 1st perfumer after 79 packs oppened.
