No, these things are treated as regular duelists. They will not yield Gems nor Skills.

try farm with silent magician deck, or six sam, try to negate their field spell and u r safe to farm them.

They drop gems indeed. I think some guys calculated around 2-3 gems/hour drop rate if you keep farming them all day long.

Ironically this is one of the best and most consistent gems revenue source currently in the game.
24h non-stop farming = 72 gems. So much gems.

1 character gift 1890 gems x 58 character = 109 620 gems rewards level up.

duel trial have approximately 5000 gems.

stage mission 4500 gem x 5 duel world = 22 500 gems

32 main box x 500 gems = 16 000 gems

22 structure deck x 500 gems = 11 000 gems

It costs 500 gems but it never gave 500 gems to you to spend in whatever you wanted. No structure deck did.
