I really wish they would make these "story" events more worth while. Don't get me wrong I do really like this one but there was so much more in the anime and so many characters that they left out to battle. This was also a perfect time to debut Marik Ishtar in his normal form to battle and to introduce him as a pre-playable character.
Well I haven't played it yet, but it would be cool if they have Duke Devlin in it. But by the looks/sounds of it he's not there. I have been wanting to play against Duke Devlin with dungeon dice a few times now. I know this is mostly duel monsters, but im surprised they don't have a small section for that. Or to be able to unlock him as a character even though his monsters would be kinda blazay.
He will likely be added at some point. Konami did give us a glimps of Normal Marik casting away his Yami side at the end of the last Attack of the Rare Hunters event. We can probably expect to see Normal Bakura at some point.
This event is probably part 1 of battle city, as we don't have anything past Evil Joey. Probably on February or March part 2 will come with the remaining parts of the story and, hopefully, Marik Ishtar and some gravekeepers support.
i can almost say with total confidence that this is a part 1 of the event there is no other explanation especially they did show kaiba getting his obelisk and stuff so there is more to come
