Remember, chain resolve backwards, from the last activated card/effect. In that situation, this card would resolve first, sending Wonder Wand's target to the Graveyard, thus making Wonder Wand lose its target and also destroying Wonder Wand, so Wonder Wand's effect would just fizzle.
