Honestly, Jaden is probably the best out of the all of the main characters when it comes to dueling. Yes, Yusei does have a better duel record, but a lot of his duels where won because his opponent's made stupid moves (Cough Jean Cough) while Jaden won most of his duels and earned those wins ...

... cont Right now ,if you were to put the dueling abilities of all the main protaginst, it would be the following: Jaden > Yusei > Yuya > Yugi and Yami Yugi > Yuma (VRAINS hasn't aired long enough to fairly rank Yusaku, but if his duel record continues to be where it is on now, he would be inbetween Jaden and Yusei)

If you watched the Yugioh Gx, You would know that Duel Academy wasn't considered the top dog!

They had a Pro circuit in GX!
They also had an Underground Duel circuit.

Yuya did go to a Duel School first of all. Second, how do we know that Yusei didn't go to a duel school, it was never said that he didn't. Also I'm pretty sure he just went to Duel School because he wanted to be a professional duelist. This isn't stupid either, because there are people who have to get college degrees for something they know how to do already in real life.

He wasn't a Pro.

He never even became a Pro!

Yugi & Atem were Pro's.

Yuma constantly made some of the stupidest mistakes I have seen in the entire series, cheated (Shining Draw), and was literally projected as a abysmal duelist during the beginning (All protagnists improved themselves by the end, but the only one who was bad at the start was Yuma, the rest were average at worst and good at best).
