But remember that each rank is held for every season. Once the season ends, you're demoted by 5 ranks, I think. I was Gold 2 and after the season ended, I was moved to Silver 2. Same for KoG

I finally got KOG and come the first of January, it knocked me down to Platinum 4. WTH!!!????

That's not true! I was Silver 1 and when I opened the game after an update, I was rookie 1 again! And I was Gold 1 and they did the same bullshit! I am Silver 1 again!

NO, you do not. Once you are promoted to KoG, you are in the safe zone. The safe zone ranks are Rookie 1-Silver 1, Gold 1, Plat 1, Legend 1, and KoG.
