Why do they start pvp duels with 5000 LP instead of 4000 ?

Is 5000 starting LP in pvp an attempt from Konami to decrease OTK rate in pvp ?

Has it been changed back to 4000 LP? I only get that much in ranked.

Regarding ss otk it was a good choice.

But it created a new problem.

Extra extra stalling decks.

They should change skills according to the 5k life too and just increase it to 5k in pve to balance that out

Yes - to decrease OTK's.

Silent swordsman OTK was the most recent reason they did this. I believe it mentioned it in the news - I could be wrong about that though and maybe I read it on reddit. lol

As stated in the news update, it is experimental and may be temporary or continued if necessary.

I believe it is meant for Silent swordsman OTK (SS lv3 + Secret passage + Silent slash + another Silent slash or Backup rider)

Possibly because very few card can stop this
