The reason why you can not chain memory loss to kaibaman is his tribute effect being a cost.
In order to activate memory loss, your opponent's monster needs to be on the field in attack position. Kaibaman works like;
So kaibaman isn't on the field when the activation happens...

"Kaibaman has 'no effect'. Its effect fire when you tribute it, but then it isn't anymore on the field and therefore memory can't be used."

You stupid fucktard. None of that matters.
Memory loss is supposed to be useable as soon as kaiba man activates his effect to tribute himself to SS blue-eyes. Do you notice the character saying: "I activate my monster effect" when they use kaiba man's effect?? he DOES have an effect you stupid shithead.

Kaibaman has 'no effect'. Its effect fire when you tribute it, but then it isn't anymore on the field and therefore memory can't be used. At least this would be my explanation for this. Would be interesting to try memory on a Silent Magician lvl 4/8 to see if it work(as they have a continous effect on the field).
