I reached KOG last Season for the first time. Now, that the new season started, I thought my Rank will be decreased by 5 but I'm Rookie 1 now. Is this normal?

You should be happy about this 'bug' as you can grind the rank up gems for all, not only the last ranks. Except you don't want to need so many wins before plat?

It may be normal, I've ever reached up to gold ranks in one season, and the next season I got downgraded back to silver 1. Somehow, Konami needs to fix this.
