Statue of Anguish Pattern just blew up my Elemental HERO Wildheart
Is this a bug? I thought Wildheart's ability would protect him from Statue's destruction effect, but apparently not.

The only effect of Trap Monsters that is a Trap effect is the one that turns them into monsters. Everything else is a monster effect, hence why some Trap Monsters (like Statue) are Effect Monsters and some (like Apophis or Swamp Mirrorer) are Normal Monsters.

While Anguish is on monster zone, it is treated as effect monster.
Thus, the destruction effect is treated as monster effect.
