during auto duel, skill is not activating

during auto duel, joey's skill "reinforcement" doesnt activate when his life point gets below 1800. he doesnt draw a warrior card. his skill work when i play manually.

Not true, I have Ishizu using her "show fairy monster card & increase lifepoints" (don't know the name) skill in auto-duels. No experience with Joey's "reinformcement" skill though.
