Guardian Grarl's effect did not active? (For Pro)

So it says "If this is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon it from your hand"
... so is this effect means that if I dont have "Gravity Axe - Grarl"' card on field I can't special summoned "Guardian Grarl" even its the only card in my hand?
