How do i get my Duelist ID back?

I randomly uninstalled the game, and when i reinstallled it, it made me stat from the beginnig! Then i go look for myself in friends and I'm still there so why did it not start me where i left off? Also how can I recieve my old ID back? Why did it ask for my google account if its not even going to start me off where i left off like other apps?
